Dr. Jené Kapela is a lifelong educator and organizational expert who provides individuals and their teams with the tools and training essential to build dynamic and successful organizations. As a visionary leader and strategic change agent, her purpose is to develop talented workforces that strengthen organizations.

Jené has a unique perspective toward training and talent development, with a background in educational leadership, adult learner development, government, and leadership program management. This, combined with her doctorate in Organizational Leadership and natural strategic thinking ability, gives Jené powerful tools to understand the challenges organizations experience related to human talent and provide people-driven solutions in the forms of training, coaching, and talent management strategy.

She currently resides in Broward County, Florida where she serves in the full-time role as Learning and Organizational Development Specialist for Broward County. Additionally, Jené manages her own company, Kapela Leadership Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in leadership training and organizational effectiveness.

Jené is a graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXX, Leadership Fort Lauderdale Class 24, and a past member of the Leadership Broward Foundation Board of Directors. She has served as a past program chair for both the Leadership Broward and Youth Leadership Broward programs.

About Her Personal Life

Jené enjoys life in Fort Lauderdale with her 4 cats ( Lilly, Hazel, Iris and Pixel) and an array of musical instruments. When she is not managing businesses with her leadership savvy, she finds joy in the cultural scene of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. You can find her dancing at local studios and and engaging in their competitions, or taking her skills out on the town for evenings of enjoyment with friends.
